Three Stooges Meet The Onion — for Eight-Year-Olds

Klutz is looking for freelance help. Specifically, we are looking for a writer/editor with a broad sense of humor who can write for kids (but appeal to adults at the same time). Think The Onion for eight-year-olds, mixed with Calvin and Hobbes, Three Stooges, and a Roadrunner cartoon.

Qualifications: You are a writer with at least 5 years editing experience. You know how to write funny and you know how to work with a creative team.You have played a prank or two (or three or four) in your time. And you have managed a project or two (or three or four). You know when to use a photo or illustration to replace a bunch of words. Oh, yeah — maybe you have written instructions and you know how to say "you put tab A into slot B" and make it engaging and maybe even witty.
