What are the Klutz product safety requirements?


All products manufactured or sold by Klutz must be tested by an independent testing laboratory and meet all ASTM product safety standards, including for lead content.

All of the products we manufacture must be tested by an independent testing laboratory to ensure that they meet applicable US product safety standards, including American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) standards, and other applicable standards for products distributed outside of the US. Among other criteria, this testing requires that all products, regardless of where they originate, are manufactured using non-toxic inks, laminates, coatings and varnishes. The tests include heavy metal testing which tests for lead content.

At Klutz, the safety and well-being of children is of the utmost concern to us, and therefore, product safety is one of our highest priorities.
