The Klutz Book of Animation



UPDATE! What camera can I use?
In the book we said you could use any video camera but since it came out we found out that there are a few out there that don't work! Yikes!

The cameras that don't work are part of a new generation of inexpensive video cameras that record onto flash memory but don't allow you to stream video onto your computer.

Anyway, if you are buying a new camera to use with the Klutz Book of Animation, don't get one that records to flash memory unless it says on the box that you can use it for streaming. Your best bet would be a webcam, since they are designed for streaming. They are also pretty cheap. You can get a perfectly good one for less than $20!
